Job Summary
Inspect and test new construction HVAC systems as the final quality checkpoint, identifying installation deficiencies and optimizing airflow principles. Collaborate with installers, supervisors, and builders to correct issues and ensure customer-ready systems while working at heights, on ladders, and lifting up to 50 lbs. Perform diagnostic checks on residential and commercial units, utilizing tablets and documentation systems to verify compliance with duct design standards. Requires 2+ years of HVAC experience, EPA certification, and ability to travel and work overtime. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED (experience may be substituted)
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to travel between job sites, work overtime, and the occasional weekend
- Ability to work at heights, on a ladder, wear PPE, and lift/move 50 lbs.
- Must have the ability to pass a background check and drug screening test.
Desired Qualifications
- HVAC installation experience, with residential HVAC experience being preferred
- Knowledge of HVAC systems, duct design, and airflow principles
- Effective verbal and written communication skills in English
- Basic computer skills (tablets, laptops, documentation systems)
- HVAC trade school certification (experience may be substituted)
- 2+ years of residential HVAC installation or service experience
