Job Summary
Diagnose and resolve complex residential HVAC service issues while performing quality control inspections to ensure repairs meet company and code standards. Install and start up HVAC equipment when needed, recommending repair and replacement solutions that best meet homeowners' needs. Mentor and coach technicians through field training and hands-on support, ensuring quality workmanship and delivering an exceptional customer experience. Complete required paperwork accurately and collect payment while maintaining a clean company vehicle and professional appearance. Handle challenging situations with confidence and communicate clearly with customers, teammates, and management.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of residential HVAC service experience
- Proven ability to diagnose complex HVAC systems independently
- EPA Certification
- Active TDLR Technician Registration
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Experience using HVAC diagnostic tools, gauges, recovery equipment, and brazing techniques
- Comfortable presenting repair and replacement options to homeowners
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office and mobile technology)
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds
- Comfortable working in attics, crawl spaces, rooftops, and outdoor environments in Texas weather
- Ability to climb ladders and enter/exit service vehicles throughout the day
