HVAC Punchout Mechanic

Job Summary
Inspect, test, and troubleshoot HVAC systems at residential project sites to ensure compliance with design specifications, quality standards, and safety before handover. Collaborate with foremen and other trades to coordinate punchout activities and maintain project timelines; document punchlist items and ensure systems meet regulatory requirements and client expectations. Utilize HVAC tools to identify problems in installations and ductwork, and apply knowledge of BAS/HVAC controls and safety practices to finalize commissioning and handover.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of vocational school and/or apprenticeship preferred
- Minimum of 2 or 3 years of hands-on experience in HVAC installation and repairs
- EPA Section 608 Certification (preferred)
- Experience with BAS/HVAC controls (preferred)
- OSHA safety standards familiarity (preferred)
- NATE certification advantageous (preferred)
