HVAC Punchout Mechanic

Job Summary
Inspect, test, and troubleshoot HVAC installations at residential project sites during punchout to verify compliance with design specifications and quality standards. Identify and resolve deficiencies before project handover, ensuring systems operate safely and meet client expectations. Collaborate with foremen and other trades to coordinate punchout activities and maintain project timelines, ensuring regulatory requirements are met and handover is smooth. Focus on reporting punchlist items and maintaining safety and compliance throughout the process.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Completion of vocational school and/or apprenticeship preferred.
- Minimum of 2 or 3 years of hands-on experience in HVAC installation and repairs
- Use all types of HVAC tools
- Identifying problems in non-working systems & duct work and accurately detect and repair the problem.
