Job Summary
The HVAC Punchout Mechanic performs final inspection, testing, and troubleshooting of HVAC installations on residential project sites, identifies and repairs deficiencies before handover, and ensures systems meet design specs, quality standards, and regulatory requirements. Collaborates with foremen and other trades to coordinate punchout activities and maintain project timelines, guaranteeing safe and efficient operation for client handover.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of vocational school and/or apprenticeship preferred
- Minimum of 2 or 3 years of hands-on experience in HVAC installation and repairs
- Use all types of HVAC tools
- Identifying problems in non-working systems & duct work and accurately detect and repair the problem
