Job Summary
HVAC + Property Maintenance Technician needed to install, maintain, and repair residential HVAC systems (air conditioners, furnaces, heat pumps, ventilation) and perform general maintenance, make-readies, and repairs (plumbing, electrical, appliances, carpentry) for a multifamily housing community. Role requires diagnosing issues, conducting preventive maintenance, keeping detailed service records, handling unit turns and refurbishments, and communicating effectively with residents and staff. Must meet EPA certification requirement and have strong HVAC, general maintenance, and light construction skills; capable of lift/move duties, on-call and weekend responsibilities, and operating in a licensed, safety-compliant environment. Hybrid work arrangement in Columbus, OH with on-site duties and coordination with Maintenance Supervisor/Property Manager.
Required Qualifications
- EPA Certification (Type II preferred)
- HVAC certification a plus
- High school diploma or equivalent
