Job Summary
Project Manager for Johnson Controls Federal Systems overseeing on-site leadership at Fort Stewart and Hunter Army Airfield. Responsibilities include installation, service, and maintenance of building equipment and systems (HVAC, BAS, electrical, metering, and related controls), managing scope, procurement, subcontractors, and schedules to ensure on-time delivery within budget and contract terms. Lead safety and compliance per contracts and US Army Corps of Engineers requirements; coordinate cost estimates, terms and technical responses to client requests; ensure effective communication of progress, risks, and financial status to leadership; support growth opportunities and ensure deliverables meet quality standards. Collaboration with Senior Project Manager and cross-functional teams to manage materials, risk, and documentation, and to train and hand off completed work to customers.
Required Qualifications
- Experience managing technical teams supporting mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC or other technical building trades
- Experience managing multiple projects and competing priorities simultaneously
- Strong experience with project scheduling and coordination for labor and materials
- Strong verbal and written communication skills. Must have the ability to communicate technical material to a non-technical audience
- Strong personal computer working capabilities in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and basic Windows environment
- Ability to obtain and maintain required government security clearances as needed
