Job Summary
HVAC/R Project Apprentice (3rd–5th Year) to install HVAC/R equipment and perform piping installations/repairs, support commissioning and start-up, and work on complex commercial/industrial projects in the GTA. You’ll maintain accurate work documentation, communicate with supervisors and clients, and represent the company on job sites. Responsibilities include installing equipment, piping, system modifications, commissioning support, safety/compliance with Health, Safety, Environmental policies and union requirements, and contributing to training of indentured apprentices. Qualifications include 3rd–5th Year HVAC/R apprenticeship (313A), UA Local 787 membership, G2 Gas Technician License or higher, valid Ontario driver’s license, ability to lift heavy materials, strong math/problem-solving skills, and the ability to work both independently and in a team. The role requires adherence to company quality systems and policies, with on-site, on-site/office hybrid expectations not indicated as remote. There is a pay range of $24.75 to $52.94 per hour, aligned with the collective agreement.
Required Qualifications
- Registered 3rd, 4th or 5th Year HVAC/R Apprentice (313A)
- Member in good standing with UA Local 787
- G2 Gas Technician License or higher (required)
- Valid Ontario Drivers License with a clean driving record
- Able to lift heavy materials, tools and equipment when required
- Excellent Math and problem-solving skills
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Understanding of Mechanical Installation and repairs
- RCMP, Public Works Reliable clearance status
