HVAC Preventive Maintenance Laborer

Job Summary
Conduct preventative maintenance and servicing of industrial and commercial HVAC systems by removing and replacing disposable and reusable filters, cleaning fan coils, condensate pans, lines, evaporator units, and cooling towers. Perform routine facility tasks including sweeping, debris removal, and litter pickup while occasionally operating a government-furnished vehicle and using common hand tools. Assist colleagues with more complex or physically demanding duties and interpret building plans, schematics, and blueprints as needed. Maintain good organization and communication skills while dealing with all levels of personnel.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum one (1) year of field experience supporting an HVAC Preventive Maintenance Program in a commercial or industrial setting
- Possess a valid Drivers License
- Basic working knowledge of facility maintenance and operating characteristics
- Possess good organization and communication skills
- Maturity and ability to deal with all levels of people, both inside and outside the company
- Ability to lift or move up to 50 pounds
Desired Qualifications
- Possess industry experience in related shop mathematics and the interpretation and application of building plans, specifications, schematics, diagrams, blueprints, and sketches of all complexity
