Job Summary
Perform routine maintenance on residential heating and air conditioning systems, operating hand and power tools to inspect furnaces, condensers, and compressors. Build client relationships by educating customers on system requirements, providing repair options and pricing, and collecting payment upon completion. Document all service performed and recommendations by completing applicable forms, reports, and logs while adhering to state and local quality and safety standards. Maintain well-groomed appearance and keep a clean uniform and work shoes throughout the day.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Texas drivers license with at least 3 years of driving history
- EPA certification
- TDLR registered with the State of Texas
- At least 6 months of in the field experience
- Mechanical aptitude
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- Strong desire to exceed customer expectations
- Ability to follow directions
- Ability to work independently
- High attention to detail
- Maintain well-groomed appearance
- Service knowledge of 16+ seer systems
- Service knowledge of heat pumps
