Job Summary
Produce HVAC and plumbing construction documents including plans, schedules, details, and flow diagrams using Revit BIM software under the guidance of a licensed Professional Engineer. Perform heating and cooling load calculations, complete basic equipment selection for fans, pumps, and plumbing fixtures, and conduct site investigations to field-verify and as-built existing mechanical systems for remodel projects. Support construction administration by reviewing shop drawings and coordinating responses with the project team while managing concurrent project tasks and deadlines. Work within a multidisciplinary design studio to coordinate system design across disciplines with architecture and engineering teams.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field
- 2+ years of professional experience in HVAC and/or plumbing system design
- Working knowledge of Revit MEP and AutoCAD
- Experience performing heating and cooling load calculations
- Proficiency with Bluebeam, Microsoft Excel, and Outlook
- Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis

Desired Qualifications
- FE (Fundamentals of Engineering) exam passed or actively in progress
- Experience with Trane TRACE or Carrier HAP energy modeling software
- Experience with VAV systems, chillers, heat pump, boilers, rooftop unit design
- Experience designing domestic water systems and DWV
