Job Summary
Welcome customers warmly, listen to inquiries, and provide accurate HVAC product advice and recommendations. Efficiently process orders using the POS system, confirm availability and delivery times, and troubleshoot common technical challenges. Upsell complementary products, maintain inventory levels by inspecting shipments and updating records, and arrange displays for accessibility. Uphold safety protocols, maintain accurate sales and interaction records, and complete required service and online training. Learn and offer active promotions during limited times. This role supports Robert Madden Industries, a family-owned HVAC distributor serving Texas, Oklahoma, and surrounding regions with over 45 years of experience.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong knowledge of HVAC products, equipment, and components
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Customer-centric attitude with a commitment to delivering exceptional service
- Physical ability to lift and move moderately heavy items
- Detail-oriented and accurate in order processing and inventory management
- Excellent computer and writing skills, including high proficiency in MS Office, emphasizing Excel
- Strong ERP skills, preferably in Epicor Prophet 21
