Job Summary
Kelso Industries is hiring an experienced Outside Sales Representative to expand our footprint in the Miami–Dade and South Florida market. This field-based role focuses on new business development in commercial HVAC, requiring on-site evaluations, consultative selling, detailed proposals, and deal closure while collaborating with estimating, service, and project teams. Candidates should have 2+ years of commercial HVAC or mechanical sales, a proven ability to prospect and close net-new business, CRM proficiency, and a valid driver's license with willingness to travel throughout South Florida. The role emphasizes building a self-sustained pipeline across the Miami metro area and growing long-term client relationships with property managers, facility leaders, and other decision-makers, targeting office, healthcare, hospitality, multifamily, and industrial facilities. Compensation includes base salary with uncapped commissions and benefits, ongoing training, and opportunities for growth.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of commercial HVAC or mechanical sales experience
- Proven ability to prospect, develop, and close net-new business
- Strong working knowledge of commercial HVAC systems, service models, and equipment lifecycle sales
- Experience selling into facility managers, property managers, or building owners
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, competitive market like Miami
- Proficiency with CRM platforms (Salesforce, HubSpot, or equivalent)
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel throughout South Florida
