Job Summary
Technical Sales Specialist focused on heating and ventilation products for residential and commercial/industrial markets. Responsible for identifying and pursuing new HVAC sales opportunities, delivering expert technical presentations and demonstrations, educating distributors, contractors, and MEP firms on product roles, developing and growing accounts, collaborating with strategic distributor partners, maintaining relationships with customers and suppliers, and staying current with industry trends. Requires a hunter mindset, strong product knowledge, CRM utilization, and the ability to conduct site visits and attend industry events to drive sales and achieve product and sales goals.
Required Qualifications
- 3-7+ years HVAC sales experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical preferred) or equivalent industry experience
- Proficiency with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for presentations and technical proposals
- In-depth understanding of HVAC and mechanical heat-trace systems
- Ability to build relationships with mechanical engineers, contractors, and distributors
- Experience in channel management and developing new accounts
