Job Summary
Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance on HVAC and mechanical equipment, including chillers, air handling units, cooling towers, and ventilation systems. Troubleshoot equipment faults, perform repairs, and carry out routine inspections to report abnormalities. Assist with equipment installation, testing, and commissioning while responding to breakdowns and supporting emergency maintenance. Complete maintenance records, service reports, and checklists while adhering to safety procedures and Permit-to-Work protocols. Collaborate with engineers, supervisors, and customers to ensure efficient maintenance activities. Work on shifts or standby duties as required within the semiconductor manufacturing environment at Kulim Hi-Tech Park.
Required Qualifications
- Certificate, SKM, Diploma, or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering
- Certificate, SKM, Diploma, or equivalent in HVAC / Air Conditioning & Refrigeration
- Certificate, SKM, Diploma, or equivalent in Building Services
- Certificate, SKM, Diploma, or equivalent in Facilities Maintenance
- Certificate, SKM, Diploma, or equivalent in Electrical or related technical disciplines
- Minimum 2 years of experience in HVAC, mechanical maintenance, facilities management, or industrial maintenance
- Basic knowledge of HVAC and mechanical systems
- Able to carry out preventive maintenance and troubleshooting
- Able to use common maintenance tools and equipment
- Willing to work on shifts or standby duties when required
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in semiconductor, manufacturing, hospital, or cleanroom environments
- Able to read simple technical drawings or manuals
- SKM certification
- CIDB Green Card
- NIOSH Safety Training
- Experience working in industrial or manufacturing environments
- Responsible and safety-conscious
- Willing to learn and work as part of a team
- Positive attitude and good communication skills
