Job Summary
Lead the design and delivery of HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and fire alarm systems for commercial, industrial, and educational projects from concept through construction. Perform mechanical calculations, equipment sizing, hydronic piping and ductwork layouts, and oversee construction documentation. Coordinate with clients, architects, and multidisciplinary teams, manage project schedules and deliverables, mentor junior engineers and designers, perform site visits, assist in proposal development, and contribute to department growth. Requires strong communication and writing skills, and proficiency with Word/Excel.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related discipline
- 7+ years of experience in design of HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems, including fire alarms
- PE license
