Job Summary
Perform routine predictive and preventive maintenance on Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning, and Refrigeration equipment throughout hospital facilities. Execute renovations, install new HVAC/R systems, and troubleshoot malfunctioning systems. Maintain inventory, make repairs, calibrate equipment, and functionally test systems while recommending corrective actions. Requires a Massachusetts Refrigeration Technician License, Universal Refrigerant Recovery Certification, and two years of experience in a hospital or industrial environment. Work a day shift from 7:00am to 3:30pm with weekly on-call rotation.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Massachusetts Refrigeration Technician License
- Universal Refrigerant Recovery Certification
- Related experience to demonstrate ability to operate and maintain typical HVAC and Refrigeration Equipment Systems
- Two (2) years experience in a hospital or industrial environment
- knowledge in the maintenance and repair of centrifugal chillers, energy management systems and associated equipment
- Fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus
Desired Qualifications
- Associates degree in Refrigeration/Air Conditioning Heating
