HVAC Mechanic (SC)

Job Summary
Maintain, repair, install and operate HVAC systems including boilers, refrigeration equipment, generators, air conditioning facilities and all related equipment. Inspect, troubleshoot, and service chillers, air handling units, controls, package units, split systems, exhaust fans, refrigerators, freezers, hot/chilled water pumps; read blueprints and specifications; perform tests for leaks; calibrate and adjust equipment for optimal performance; install and repair electrical and pneumatic control systems; ensure safety and compliance. Requires HVAC certification and EPA certification per CFR part 82f. Strong diagnostic, mathematical, and computer skills, with the ability to work in a high-paced environment.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least two years of related experience
- Experience and/or certification in one or more predictive maintenance technologies (vibration analysis, infrared, ultrasound, etc.)
- EPA certification per CFR part 82f (Universal preferred) for servicing and recovery of refrigerants
- HVAC certification
