Job Summary
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on commercial and industrial HVAC systems, including air conditioning, heating, ventilation, and refrigeration equipment. Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical and electrical components such as motors, compressors, pumps, fans, and controls. Monitor systems to respond to maintenance requests, complete work orders via CMMS, and safely recover, evacuate, and charge refrigerant systems. Read schematics and technical documentation to minimize facility downtime during emergencies. Follow OSHA and EPA safety requirements, including lockout/tagout procedures, while communicating status updates to supervisors. Work independently in a stable industrial automotive manufacturing environment with a Tuesday–Saturday afternoon/evening schedule.
Required Qualifications
- EPA certification
- Previous commercial or industrial HVAC maintenance experience
- Ability to work the required Tuesday–Saturday afternoon/evening schedule
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in an automotive manufacturing or heavy industrial environment
- High school diploma or equivalent
- HVAC technical training or trade school
