HVAC Mechanic I-Atlantic Health Chilton Medical Center-Per Diem

Perform routine maintenance on HVAC and refrigeration systems, including filters, belts, motors, and coils. Support installation of new equipment and ductwork following specifications and building codes. Conduct basic inspections, troubleshoot minor issues, and report findings to supervisors or HVACs II, III. Maintain daily logs, documentation, and service records in the CMMS while ensuring work areas remain clean and safe. Respond to routine temperature complaints, service requests, and emergency calls outside regular hours. Interpret blueprints and technical drawings, collaborate with other trades on integrated projects, and ensure compliance with Joint Commission standards and safety protocols. Assist during emergency responses and facility repairs as required.
