Job Summary
Operate and monitor large-capacity utility systems and multiple components within healthcare facility; start, regulate, and shut down mechanical systems; adjust temperature/humidity setpoints; perform inspections and adjustments on boilers, chillers, cooling towers, air handlers, VAV boxes, and related controls; diagnose and repair refrigeration and air conditioning systems including walk-ins and reach-ins; utilize diagnostic tools and testing procedures to identify worn components in HVAC/refrigeration systems; install, service, and maintain comfort cooling equipment including kitchen/galley equipment and truck refrigeration units; document inspections and maintenance in Maximo CMMS; require 3–5+ years of HVAC experience, strong communication skills, ability to read electrical/mechanical drawings, and ability to pass drug/background checks for military installation access; based in Grand Island, NE.
Required Qualifications
- Three (3) to Five (5) or more years of experience
- Strong communication skills, both orally and in writing
- Knowledge and ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings
- Ability to manage assigned workload to meet professional and efficient execution of time
- PC experience required and the ability to program DDC software
- Must be able to successfully pass a drug test and a thorough background check for access onto a military installation
