Job Summary
Perform light maintenance of all heating, cooling, and ventilation systems, including residential apartments and shared community spaces. Respond to emergency calls for system and equipment failure and inspect, monitor, and evaluate efficiency and safety to ensure trouble-free operation. Implement plans formulated by the Engineering/Maintenance Manager and adjust to new industry techniques and equipment as required. Lift and move objects weighing up to 50 pounds while communicating effectively with residents and the team. This role supports the comfort and safety of residents at Eagle's Trace, a 70-acre continuing care retirement community in West Houston, Texas.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year experience in HVAC maintenance
- Ability to implement all plans formulated by Engineering/Maintenance Manager
- Ability to adjust to new industry techniques and become familiar with new equipment as required
- Ability to communicate effectively with residents and the team
- Be able to lift and/or move objects weighing up to 50 pounds
