Job Summary
Travel daily to perform preventive maintenance on HVAC systems, complete PM checklists, and close out work orders in Maximo. Diagnose and execute repairs on chillers, air handlers, and cooling towers, including handling refrigerants and balancing airflow. Perform minor plumbing fixes, low-voltage wiring, and chemical testing on cooling towers while maintaining parts inventory. Collaborate with subcontractors and manage vendor proposals to ensure reliable indoor air comfort across multiple locations.
Required Qualifications
- High school education or GED equivalent
- 5-10 years of experience maintaining and repairing HVAC equipment
- Must be able to pass an extensive background check
- Must have a valid driver's license and transportation
- Must be able to pass drug screening
- EPA 608 Certification for refrigerant (Type 1 and Type 2)
- Knowledge of multiple types of HVAC systems (Mini-splits, Rooftop Units, Chillers-Air Cooled, etc)
- Good mechanical/electrical/plumbing skills as related to HVAC equipment
- Ability to lift and carry weights up to 75 lbs
- Ability to work with little supervision
- Ability to travel daily within the Designated area
- Knowledge of organizational procedures and workflows
- Basic knowledge of relevant technologies or tools – e.g., Microsoft 365, communication platforms, or industry‐standard software
- Knowledge of customer service practices
- Knowledge of data privacy and confidentiality principles

Desired Qualifications
- 10-15 years of experience maintaining and repairing HVAC equipment
- Experience with maintaining multiple locations
- EPA 608 Certification for refrigerant (Universal)
- Controls Knowledge a plus
