HVAC Manager – MERHVAC Manager - Full Time

Job Summary
Oversee maintenance, operation, and reliability of critical facility systems including boilers, hot water systems, mechanical equipment, HVAC, refrigeration, and electrical infrastructure. Coordinate planning, replacement, installation, and continuous improvement of these systems during renovations and new construction projects. Lead technical teams to ensure regulatory compliance, promote energy efficiency, and maintain a safe environment for guests and staff. Troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on all mechanical and environmental control systems while maintaining accurate records. Select and manage outsourced suppliers and services to ensure quality and safety standards. Provide regular reports on system performance, maintenance needs, and staffing requirements to senior management. This full-time role includes occasional evenings, weekends, or emergency call-outs as business needs require.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED
- Two years of vocational training
- Certification to reclaim and recycle CFC and HCFC refrigerants
- Work experience in related field (3 years minimum)
- Leadership role experience in related field (2 years minimum)
- Valid driver's license
- Knowledge of and proficiency with using shop tools and related specialized equipment
- Ability to lift, carry, and move objects up to 60 pounds
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time
- Ability to climb ladders, scaffolding, or work at heights when necessary
- Manual Dexterity: Proficient use of hands for fine motor tasks
- Ability to safely operate hand tools, power tools, and machinery
- Ability to bend, twist, and maneuver around equipment and obstacles
- Must be able to work long hours, including standing, walking, and performing physical tasks continuously throughout the shift
- Must be comfortable working in various environmental conditions, including indoor and outdoor settings, and under varying temperatures and weather conditions
