Job Summary
Diagnose and repair heating and cooling systems during in-home service calls for equipment under 10 years old. Establish customer rapport to sell products, ask lifestyle questions to troubleshoot malfunctions, and educate clients on finance options and maintenance plans. Mentor apprentices for accurate repairs, maintain clean job sites and inventoried trucks, and submit timely invoices and feedback. Work alongside customer service and dispatch to exceed revenue goals while adhering to local HVAC codes and NATE certification standards.
Required Qualifications
- Knowledge of local HVAC codes and ability to make on-the-job applications
- Proven track record in heating and cooling systems
- Continued education and training to obtain NATE certification
- Clean, safe driving record
- Highly organized with exceptional follow-through abilities
- Strong verbal and written communications
