Job Summary
HVAC Maintenance Technician responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining HVAC systems including compressors, motors, coils, and thermostats; performing preventative maintenance on heating and cooling equipment; handling refrigerants per EPA standards; completing general maintenance tasks such as plumbing, drywall patching, painting, and finish work to restore units; basic electrical repairs; preparing vacant units for new residents; responding to resident work orders with professionalism; conducting routine inspections of buildings and equipment; maintaining records of repairs and parts used; and supporting overall property upkeep while thriving in a team environment.
Required Qualifications
- Valid HVAC Certification
- EPA Universal Certification
- One to two years of hands on HVAC experience
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, troubleshooting, and repair
- Experience with general maintenance including plumbing, electrical, and drywall
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift more than 75 pounds
- Ability to work in various weather conditions
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
