Job Summary
Maintain and repair facility systems including HVAC, cooling water, fuels, industrial gas, boilers, water treatment, battery banks, emergency power, and electrical/plumbing tasks. Develop and execute preventative maintenance schedules for HVAC and facilities equipment; monitor building management systems; troubleshoot and set up control system schematics; coordinate repairs with contractors; schedule fuel deliveries and maintain usage logs; perform shift work including possible holidays/OT; obtain Propane and/or NORA certifications and an electrical license. Requires self-direction, strong troubleshooting, clear communication, and collaboration with teams and contractors. Based at GE Aerospace Rutland facility in Vermont; role may involve varying assignments and shifts; must meet U.S. work authorization requirements and pass a drug screen.
Required Qualifications
- Basic knowledge of facility systems and equipment
- HVAC repair and preventative maintenance experience
- Good troubleshooting skills
- Ability to be self-directed and be able to direct others including contractors

- Demonstrated follow through on projects and tasks
