Job Summary
HVAC Maintenance Technician needed to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems across residential, commercial, or industrial properties. Responsibilities include routine maintenance (inspections, cleaning, tune-ups), diagnosing and repairing electrical, mechanical, and control-related issues, replacing components (compressors, motors, thermostats, ductwork), responding to service and emergency calls, implementing energy-efficiency programs, ensuring safety and EPA compliance, maintaining maintenance records, coordinating with vendors/contractors for specialized work, and inspecting systems to preempt issues. Requires a high school diploma or GED, 2+ years of HVAC experience, EPA Certification (Universal or Type II preferred), proficiency with reading blueprints/schematics/manuals, tool proficiency, a valid driver’s license, and strong problem-solving/customer service skills.
