Job Summary
Conduct preventative maintenance and troubleshooting for HVAC systems in Frederick and surrounding areas to prevent problems before they occur. Respond to after-hours emergency calls when signaled, requiring the ability to spring into action immediately. Diagnose issues and explain technical solutions clearly to clients in layman's terms while maintaining a professional demeanor. Hold a Maryland HVAC apprentice license and a valid driver's license with a clean record. Work Monday through Friday, 8am-5pm, with one weekend on-call rotation each month. Receive a take-home company vehicle, tool account, and comprehensive training.
Required Qualifications
- Maryland HVAC apprentice license
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to pass a background check and periodic drug testing
- When on-call, the ability to spring into action for an after-hours emergency as soon as you are signaled
- Self-motivated HVAC technician who is able to work independently
- Ability to present yourself professionally
- Excellent communication skills, including the ability to explain things clearly in layman's terms
- Respectful of others and their property
