HVAC Lead Technician

Job Summary
Lead and coordinate daily HVAC maintenance and repair activities across HVAC/R systems, supervising technicians and subcontractors; read and interpret blueprints, P&IDs, schematics, and technical manuals; ensure safety and compliance with OSHA, DOE, and building codes; coordinate outages, testing, and commissioning; support energy efficiency initiatives and system reliability; perform preventative/predictive maintenance and diagnose electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical control system issues; maintain CMMS records; mentor staff and manage work orders and schedules.
Required Qualifications
- US Citizen
- EPA Universal Refrigerant Certification
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum 5–10 years of HVAC maintenance experience in industrial/commercial/government facilities
- Demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience
- Valid driver's license
