Job Summary
Install and replace HVAC equipment including ductwork, attic and vertical splits, rooftop units, and accessories while maintaining proper stock and vehicle safety. Travel to job sites to work with dispatch, communicate schedule delays, and engage homeowners to uncover system concerns for potential sales. Design duct systems for optimal comfort, generate customer invoices, process payments, and participate in training on customer service and industry technologies. Mentor apprentices and entry-level installers on performance and best practices. Requires EPA Universal Certification, 3+ years of HVAC experience, and ability to work independently in tight spaces.
Required Qualifications
- EPA Universal Certification Required
- 3+ years' experience with knowledge in refrigeration function and theory
- ability to diagnose and perform replacement of HVAC related components such as Air Conditioners & Heat Pumps, Furnaces & Air Handlers, Duct Work & Zone Systems, Thermostats, Air Filters/filtration Systems, Low and high voltage wiring
- Minimum Tool Requirements: Basic Hand Tools- wrenches, screwdriver/nut drives, sheet metal/duct tools, and hammer
- Minimum Testing Equipment usage: Refrigerant Gauges, Manometer, Magnarelli, C/O Detector, Psychrometer, and Micron Gauge
- Working knowledge of city codes
- Ability to work independently in a timely manner, making sure job is done correctly the first time
- Ability to crawl in tight places and climb ladders, work in attics, garages, crawl spaces, and on roofs
Desired Qualifications
- Bilingual in Spanish and English preferred
- Service Titan experience preferred
