Job Summary
Remove and replace outdated HVAC systems, including furnaces, heat pumps, and air conditioning units. Install complete residential heating and air conditioning systems following manufacturer specifications and codes. Lead residential HVAC installations with support from an assigned helper while starting up, testing, and troubleshooting newly installed equipment. Ensure all work meets safety, quality, and inspection standards, delivering professional service and maintaining a clean job site. This full-time, year-round position requires a minimum of two years of residential HVAC installation experience, EPA certification, and the ability to lift heavy equipment.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of residential HVAC installation experience
- Experience installing heating and air conditioning systems
- Comfortable leading HVAC installs with a helper
- Working knowledge of local HVAC inspection codes
- EPA Certification (or ability to obtain)
- Valid driver's license with good driving record
- Ability to lift heavy HVAC equipment and work in attics or crawlspaces
- Must pass background check and drug screening
