Job Summary
Lead residential HVAC system and furnace installations, ensuring safety, accuracy, and efficiency while coordinating with dispatch and customer service for smooth job flow. Train and mentor apprentices to become top-performing technicians, maintaining clean job sites and fully stocked trucks. Install ductwork, thermostats, and components with precision, accurately complete all paperwork and time tracking, and lead by example during team meetings and training sessions. Requires 3+ years of direct install experience, metal fabrication skills, and ability to work in extreme weather. Weekly pay of $35-$50 DOE, plus paid time off, 401(k) match, and parental leave.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years direct install experience of HVAC systems, tools (vacuum pumps, recovery machines, refrigerant gauges, etc), codes, and installation techniques
- Proven ability to complete full system installs in one day/shift
- 3+ years experience metal fabrication in the field
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Comfortable reading blueprints and understanding job specs
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 100 lbs. and work in tight, physically demanding spaces and extreme weather conditions
- 2+ years working with and developing apprentice technicians
