HVAC Lead Install Technician

Job Summary
Install, replace, and service heating, air conditioning, air quality, and refrigeration systems while diagnosing equipment and ensuring proper airflow and temperature control. Replace or retrofit HVAC systems to meet current efficiency and safety standards, connect electrical wiring according to diagrams, and join fuel, water, and refrigerant lines. Collaborate with customers to explain the installation process, answer questions, and educate them on proper system use and maintenance. Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used, enter completed projects into the database, and communicate with dispatch, parts, and installation teams. Keep your company vehicle clean and inventory up to date, and comply with all safety standards and codes.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver's license
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1+ year experience in sales, preferably HVAC or home services
- Clean Driving Record
- Ability to Pass Pre-Employment Background Check and Physical/Drug Screen
- Must be able to lift ~50lbs
- Ability to travel to other locations, for training sessions and/or meetings, car/air travel 25-50%
- Must be able to sit for extended periods of time
- Ability to climb ladders, work in attics, crawl spaces, and other residential environments
- Basic understanding of electrical wiring, connections, and system components
- Ability to read blueprints and technical diagrams
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills
- Professional appearance, positive attitude, and team-oriented mindset
- Certification or associate's degree from an HVAC program at a technical school and 2+ years as an HVAC installation technician
- Experience in the trades: HVAC, plumbing, electrical
- Experience using Service Titan
- EPA Certified
- NATE Certified
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with RESIDENTIAL CUSTOMERS
- Certification or associate's degree from an HVAC program at a technical school and 2+ years as an HVAC installation technician (preferred but not required)
- Experience in the trades: HVAC, plumbing, electrical
- Experience with Service Titan
- EPA Certified
- NATE Certified
