Job Summary
Lead residential HVAC installation projects from start to finish, installing furnaces, heat pumps, air conditioners, ductless mini-split systems, and ductwork while ensuring compliance with manufacturer specs and local codes. Supervise and mentor apprentices and junior technicians, perform system startups and testing, and complete job documentation and photos accurately. Collaborate with dispatch and service teams to ensure efficient project completion while maintaining a safe work environment and operating company vehicles. Requires 5+ years of experience, EPA Universal Certification, and the ability to lift 75+ pounds in varying weather conditions. Competitive hourly pay plus performance incentives ranging from $80K-120K, with medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) benefits.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of residential HVAC installation experience
- Previous experience leading installation crews
- Strong knowledge of heat pumps
- Strong knowledge of gas furnaces
- Strong knowledge of air conditioning systems
- Strong knowledge of ductless mini-splits
- Strong knowledge of sheet metal and duct modifications
- EPA Universal Certification
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to read installation plans and equipment specifications
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and customer service abilities
- Ability to lift 75+ pounds and work in attics, crawlspaces, and varying weather conditions
