Job Summary
Provide service and maintenance for commercial and industrial HVAC equipment, including chillers, rooftop units, fan coils, water source heat pumps, cooling towers, and boilers. Perform inspections, diagnostics, repairs, and testing to verify functionality; conduct intermediate and advanced troubleshooting, pipefitting, and brazing; lead apprentices through hands-on demonstrations; participate in warranty service applications; download programs into equipment and analyze chiller trend data to optimize performance; educate customers on proper use and maintenance; document billing, inventory, and time records; maintain safety standards and OSHA compliance; maintain required certifications and pursue skill development through available regional training. The role requires a High School Diploma or GED with an Associate-level HVAC credential or equivalent, at least 5+ years of related experience, and eligibility for the journeyman standard. The position is full-time and based in Pittsburgh, PA.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Associates Degree or technical HVAC certification (preferred)
- 5+ years of related experience
- EPA approved Universal Technician Certification (preferred)
- OSHA 10 certification (preferred)
- Current first aid / CPR card (preferred)
- Valid Driver’s License and acceptable driving record
