Job Summary
Diagnose HVAC system issues, recommend repair or replacement options, and install, service, maintain, and replace heating, cooling, and ventilation systems for residential and commercial clients. Perform preventative maintenance and inspections while explaining findings, pricing, and solutions to customers professionally. Complete work in compliance with manufacturer specifications, building codes, and EPA requirements, maintaining accurate records in ServiceTitan. Mentors apprentices and collaborates with plumbing, electrical, and customer service teams to deliver complete home service solutions. Requires a Journeyman HVAC License, EPA certification, and five years of experience. Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Driver's License with acceptable driving record
- Journeyman HVAC License (Required, where applicable)
- EPA Section 608 Certification (Required)
- Ability to frequently lift and carry up to 75 lbs
- Ability to climb ladders
- Ability to work in attics and crawlspaces
- Ability to kneel
- Ability to bend
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to safely work around electrical equipment
- Ability to safely work around refrigerants
- Ability to safely work around moving mechanical parts
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals
- Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams
- Ability to read and interpret installation instructions
- Ability to read and interpret safety procedures
- Ability to perform measurements
- Ability to perform load and airflow calculations
- Ability to perform basic job costing
- Ability to accurately diagnose mechanical and electrical HVAC issues
- Ability to determine appropriate repair solutions
- Ability to effectively interact with customers
- Ability to effectively interact with coworkers
- Ability to effectively interact with management
Desired Qualifications
- High School or equivalent
- Five or more years of HVAC installation and service experience
