Job Summary
Maintain accurate inventory records, review data to uncover trends, and validate cleansing records to support effective decision-making. Collaborate with warehouse, operations, and procurement teams to keep stock levels high, identify inefficient procedures, and take corrective actions on data discrepancies. Strategically forecast inventory demands, plan replenishments, and track vital KPIs including inventory turnover, stockout rates, and forecast accuracy. Brainstorm methods to reduce carrying costs and improve overall efficiency and profitability. Requires a Bachelor's degree in statistics or supply chain management, 3+ years of experience, and proficiency in Excel, Power BI, and ERP systems like SAP or NetSuite. Full-time role with travel required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a field like statistics, data analytics, business analytics, supply chain management, or industrial engineering
- 3+ years of experience in inventory, operations, or supply chain analytics
- Advanced Excel proficiency, with knowledge of macros, pivot tables, and Power Query
- Exceptional data analysis skills and comfort with statistics
- Analytical problem-solving abilities
- Working knowledge of inventory management and supply chain methodologies
- Ability to use visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.) to present data insights
- Comfort using inventory management software and an ERP system like SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite
- Must have the ability to pass a background check
