Job Summary
Deliver classroom instruction on HVAC course material, maintain gradebooks, and mentor adult students to industry expectations. Requires two years of in-field experience and strong knowledge of residential HVAC components (thermostats, air handlers, furnaces, heat pumps). Teaching experience with adults preferred; EPA and NATE certification are a plus. Postsecondary degrees (associate or bachelor’s) are favored. Position is part-time and in-person at Pasadena Main Campus, Pasadena, TX.
Required Qualifications
- Two years of in-field experience
- Thorough knowledge of the residential HVAC industry including thermostats, air handlers, furnaces (gas and electric), heat pumps, etc.
- Experience in teaching and training adults
