Job Summary
Install and maintain HVAC systems in residential and commercial buildings by reading blueprints, measuring pipes, and connecting components like compressors and motors. Test and troubleshoot systems to ensure proper functioning, making necessary repairs or adjustments while following all safety protocols. Communicate with customers to answer questions and provide excellent service, keeping accurate records of work performed and materials used. Requires a high school diploma, two years of HVAC experience, a valid driver's license, and the physical ability to lift heavy equipment in various weather conditions.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years experience as an HVAC installer
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Knowledge of HVAC systems and their components
