Job Summary
Install high-efficiency HVAC systems, furnaces, and ductwork for residential and light commercial clients, decoding blueprints to ensure code-compliant, energy-efficient setups. Fabricate ductwork, connect refrigerant lines, and perform startup testing while hunting for upgrades that reduce customer costs. Maintain clean job sites and deliver clear technical explanations to clients during walkthroughs. Work full hours with frequent overtime and on-call availability in a fast-paced environment.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid EPA Section 608 certification (Universal)
- 2+ years crushing HVAC installs (residential/light commercial)
- Deep know-how on equipment, electrical, refrigeration, ducts, and codes
- Blueprint-reading superpower
- Clean Illinois driver's license
- Ready to lift 50+ lbs.
