Job Summary
HVAC Installer will install, repair, and maintain HVAC systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings. Responsibilities include installing HVAC equipment (furnaces, air conditioners, ventilation systems), performing maintenance and repairs, troubleshooting and diagnosing problems, maintaining safety protocols, delivering excellent customer service, and keeping accurate records of work and materials. The role requires reading and interpreting blueprints/schematics, staying current with industry developments through training, and collaborating with a team while able to work independently. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Technical school training or apprenticeship in HVAC installation and repair
- 3 years of experience in HVAC installation and repair
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of HVAC systems and components
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in confined spaces
