Job Summary
HVAC Installer responsible for installing HVAC equipment (furnaces, air conditioners, ventilation systems) in residential and commercial settings, performing maintenance and repair, and troubleshooting issues. Must read blueprints and schematics, interpret HVAC knowledge, work independently or as part of a team, maintain safety protocols, provide excellent customer service, and maintain records of work and materials used. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent and technical school training or apprenticeship in HVAC, 3 years of experience, strong mechanical aptitude, valid driver’s license, and ability to lift heavy equipment and work in confined spaces. Training and development opportunities and 401(k) matching are offered. Attendance at training sessions and staying up-to-date with industry developments are expected.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Technical school training or apprenticeship in HVAC installation and repair
- 3 years of experience in HVAC installation and repair
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of HVAC systems and components
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
