Job Summary
HVAC Installer II position with ACE Hardware Home Services in Linwood, NJ. The role focuses on installing and replacing residential HVAC equipment (furnaces, condensers, air handlers, heat pumps) in the field, following installation specifications and job layouts, testing systems to ensure proper operation, and ensuring adherence to local codes and safety standards. Responsibilities include handling ductwork, piping, oil, geothermal equipment, maintaining tools and the jobsite, supporting lead installers, collaborating with installation teams, and delivering professional, customer-focused service during every visit. The environment is field-based with local travel, year-round work, and a schedule of Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–Finish, with occasional overtime during peak season. Strong emphasis on customer service, teamwork, and quality workmanship, with potential advancement opportunities and ongoing training.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of residential HVAC installation experience strongly preferred
- Experience with ductwork, piping, oil, geothermal, and airflow systems
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Team-oriented mindset
