Job Summary
Perform HVAC/R equipment, duct system, and control installations while following manufacturer instructions and company policies. Pull and organize materials, solve on-site problems to meet budgeted timelines, and start up new equipment to verify correct operation. Complete repairs and improvements, maintain clean work areas and vehicles, and track inventory and maintenance needs. Collect payments, finalize paperwork, and contact the office after each job to provide work details. Offer customers information on service agreements and accessories. Work outdoors, in crawlspaces, and attics, lifting up to 100 pounds, with overtime and weekend availability as required.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of HVAC Installation experience
- Relevant HVAC Technician certifications or licensing
- Valid driver's license
- Clean driving record
- Physical ability to lift 50 lbs
- EPA 608 certified
- Clean criminal records as required by state laws for home service companies and by company insurance carrier(s)
- Two or more years of experience as an HVAC/R installation, maintenance, or service technician
- Ability to lift 100 pounds
- Ability to follow/perform installation procedures for HVAC/R equipment
- Ability to follow controls/wiring schematic
- Ability to braze/solder/weld
- Ability to perform minor field fabrication
- Overtime/weekend work as required
