HVAC Installation Apprentice (3rd/4th Year)-RC

Job Summary
Inspect equipment, structures, or materials to identify problems or defects and operate powered equipment including hand tools and stationary machines. Assist in commercial installation projects by installing sheet metal, spiral ducts, roof top units, and other HVAC equipment while testing for leaks in new and repaired systems. Maintain high quality initiative while completing assigned duties and solve problems by analyzing information to choose the best solution. This 3rd or 4th year apprentice role includes on-the-job training from experienced journeymen and company-provided apprenticeship classes. You must have a minimum of two years of HVAC experience, a current driver's license, and ability to drive a motor vehicle to commute to job sites within the region, with overnight travel as necessary.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of HVAC experience
- Previously worked with an HVAC company doing installation and repairs of HVAC equipment
- Competent, responsible, organized and team-oriented
- Strong communication and average computer skills
- Strong basic math skills
- Above average problem-solving skills
- Ability to follow instructions
- Ability to operate powered equipment
- Ability to drive a motor vehicle
- Maintain a current driver's license
- Maintain an active state and city license
- Completion of High School Diploma or equivalent
- Pre-employment drug screens are required
Desired Qualifications
- Field experience in construction, HVAC or similar field
