Job Summary
Perform HVAC installations with attention to detail, collaborating with team members to optimize processes and ensure seamless operations. Drive and maintain company vehicles, serving customers by analyzing work orders, following daily travel schedules, and proactively solving problems. Request necessary parts and equipment in advance, verifying truck loading, while documenting all work performed per company procedure. Provide guidance to assistants or apprentices, share knowledge, and maintain current knowledge of HVAC codes and standards. Keep personal tools and equipment operable and up to date, maintaining professional conduct in all working conditions. Requires minimum 5 years of residential HVAC installation experience, a valid driver's license with a clean record, and proficiency in safe tool use.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of residential HVAC installation experience
- Valid local driver's license with a clean driving record
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Customer service skills
- Ability to work independently, make informed decisions, and manage multiple tasks effectively
- Proficiency in the safe use and maintenance of HVAC tools and equipment
- Must pass a drug screen, background record and motor vehicle record
- Ability to exercise independent judgment and make appropriate decisions
- Ability to organize and manage multiple tasks
- Ability to work synergistically with crew partner(s), also independently and accurately
- Knowledgeable and skilled in the safe use and maintenance of required tools
