Job Summary
Supervise and manage HVAC system installations from start to finish, leading, mentoring, and scheduling a team of technicians including subordinate supervisors and additional crew members. Provide hands-on technical support and troubleshooting while running quality control checks to confirm installations meet code and company standards. Keep customers informed on progress and address concerns on the spot, partnering with the plumbing team to ensure clean system integration. Maintain accurate work orders, invoices, and job documentation while training and developing technicians to grow their skills. This active, hands-on field role requires extended periods of standing, lifting up to 50 lbs., and working in tight spaces. Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in HVAC Technology, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
- 5 to 10 years of equivalent hands-on experience
- EPA 608 Certification
- OSHA 30 Certification
- Strong communication skills
- Comfortable writing reports
- Comfortable talking through technical issues with customers, crews, and managers alike
- Solid math skills (percentages, proportions, area/volume calculations)
- Sound judgment for solving problems on the fly
- Ability to maintain a good attitude
- Ability to take ownership of problems before escalating them
- Ability to represent the company well, even in tough situations
