Job Summary
Assist in installing or replacing HVAC equipment including ductwork, attic and vertical splits, rooftop package units, and gas or heat pump systems. Maintain proper stock, parts, and safety equipment in the company vehicle while traveling with the lead to job sites in the service area. Design duct systems for optimal comfort and efficiency, and engage with homeowners to uncover concerns regarding their AC systems. Generate customer invoices, process paperwork, and handle electronic credit card payments at the job site. Participate in company-provided training on customer service and industry technologies, and coach apprentices and entry-level installers.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum Tool Requirements: Basic Hand Tools- wrenches, screwdriver/nut drives, sheet metal/duct tools, and hammer
- Ability to work independently in a timely manner, making sure job is done correctly the first time
- Ability to crawl in tight places and climb ladders; work in attics, garages, crawl spaces, and on roofs
