Job Summary
Review and verify daily work requests for scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, then perform repairs and preventative maintenance on heating, ventilating, air purifying systems, and air conditioning equipment. Monitor dispatch calls for immediate attention, respond promptly, and inform management of equipment requiring further repairs. Execute installations and repairs to ductwork, piping, controls, and equipment while adhering to refrigerant disposal regulations and cleaning all work areas. Observe safety procedures, report unsafe conditions, and maintain accuracy in documentation and task completion.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Minimum of one year of experience in HVAC installations or repair and/or formal training certificate from an accredited HVAC school
- Universal Refrigerant Certification is required/or obtained within a 90-day probationary period upon employee start date
- Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures in repair and preventative maintenance of HVAC
